Beginning December 3, Vote for Your Favorite Tree. Twelve trees along Mt. Vernon Avenue have been adopted and decorated by area nonprofits. We invite you to Walk the Avenue and look at all the trees and then VOTE for your favorite in the Best Decorated Tree Competition!  Each tree has a sign with a number on it. Pick which one you like the best and then click here beginning December 3 to cast your vote for your favorite. Voting will be open until 5 pm Christmas Day, December 25, and the winning nonprofit will receive $500 from the Del Ray Business Association.

Special thanks to Mike Anderson and Bill Blackburn from Pork Barrel BBQ, Holy Cow and the sushi bar for donating our beautiful 25-foot tree at the market and to Windmill Hill for doing the heavy lifting to get the tree up for all of us to enjoy. If you see them, be sure and tell them thanks!!
