T.C. Williams' Career and Transition Services
Angela Brown and Jim Cooney, Employment Support Specialists from T.C. Williams High School, will speak on the Alexandria City Public School's Career and Transition Services, a school-to-work program. They are seeking new work sites to provide unpaid internships and work experiences, as well as paid employment opportunities, for students aged 15–21. The program is comprised of special education students who are ready to work! Angela and Jim will also share how employers can support students by donating to the Career and Transition Scholarship fund.

Strengthening the Bond between Businesses and Residents
Ben Flood, local resident, will present ideas to strengthen the bond between Del Ray's businesses and its residents. He is currently developing a website for locals to visit and learn about all the great things going on just down the street from their home. Local businesses and civic groups will benefit from the ability to directly target their core clients with various marketing campaigns and event updates, which will garner more traffic to their respective shops and websites. “This new website hopes to provide the latest information on all things Del Ray for residents, businesses and non-residents alike."
